How was your Halloween~? XD

so we had cool plans for halloween, me and my housemates were supposed to go to this swanky party (older kids get too lazy to trick or treat every other year).

Buttttttttt. things didn't work out.

the party was at a friends girlfriends house. We wanted to bring two more people, fine upstanding stanford graduates with fancy jobs to the party, but! I decided to be a good friend and call ahead to make sure it was ok.

I called. no answer...i figured "hmm, must be the loud conversation at the dinner party is preventing him from hearing me"

so I called 7 times.

turns out, my friend was having an angry dinner with his dad, (my friend is a researcher at yale or princeton now, I forget) and instead of silencing his phone he let it buzz or something == made dad more mad as they were having angry time.

THUS he got mad at us and uninvited us from the party.

YES, UN-INVITED US from the party. this has never happened to me before, and it is so weird.

Anyway, ran to target, bought like 20 bucks of candy, frozen pizza, bean dip ,and threw an all night movie fest/smaller party at home.

the lesson is, make sure you have 5 halloween parties lined up and study for your midterms two weeks in advance so you're not too exhausted to go trick or treating.

p.s. out of all the 2000 little kids that walked up and down our street, not ONE came to our door. fail.

Mine was okay. We went to a party and walked hme with a friend named Kathy also XD at like 10.30ish.

But the sad part is that I was t-o-ting for Unicef and I only got $2... T^T.. fail.~

Halloween is about greed. we would have put candy in your unicef bowl....lolz
